60th Anniversary Pontiac Tempest Regional Little Indians Celebration

Join us for the first Central / Southern Regional Little Indians regional gathering in celebration of reaching the amazing milestone of 60 years since the introduction of the groundbreaking 1961 Motor Trend Car of the year, our beloved Tempests.

We will be holding this in conjunction with the 32nd Annual Pontiac Uprising show and race event held at the Great Bend Kansas SCRA drag strip.  This recently renovated track is centrally located in the country and is a fun show and event.  Gather with like minded Tempest/LeMans owners and have a great time, enjoy the racing, indoor show, indoor swap meet.  Free camping at the track with electric, The GRRR'8R Witchita GTO club on Friday night will have a BBQ dinner and speaker Jeff Dennison a former Pontiac design Engineer.   The Great Bend Track has a lot of history and was the training grounds for the B59 bomber in WWII and hosted the very first NHRA National Drag event in 1955.  It has recently been remodeled.  Please see attached flyers for the Little Indian Regional celebration and the Pontiac Uprising.  For additional details please contact either Robin Triplett or Mimi Siracusa.  Let us know if you are able to attend and spread the word to your fellow enthusiasts.  Looking forward to seeing you out there.
