Little Indians Go Fund Me Drive - to rebuild website

After many years of service from their current website, the Little Indians Chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International has realized it’s past time to restore and modernize it. Like their beloved Tempests, the website is made of outdated parts - no-longer supported software versions and outdate apps. It is no longer supported by a service provider. Without a new website, the chapter will lose its major means of contact with its members.
The only viable solution is a complete rebuild. The new website will feature modern, proven and readily-available apps that will automatically update as needed and provide the chapter with more accessibility for hands-on adjustments.
As a not-for-profit club, the chapter relies solely on member dues and minor sales of calendars and T-shirts to cover normal operating expenses. This once -a-generation website development is well outside the chapter’s ability to fund it through its normal means. The cost for a completely new website is estimated at about $7,000 to $10,000. The chapter would like to set a goal for this Go Fund Me campaign at $10,000. The higher end would allow us to add additional functionality over standard apps in both the front end user experience and back end administration.
The Little Indians Chapter currently serves over 350 dues-paying members, plus over 1,000 followers on its Facebook page. Aside from its award-winning newsletter and Facebook page, the website is one of the key benefits of membership in the chapter, providing invaluable resource material, technical support, membership services, archives and member contact information. The chapter is the only source totally dedicated to the very rare 1961-1963 Tempests.
This fund will ensure continued support for this most-important part of the classic car hobby. At the top is a go-fund-me link to reach a broader audience, feel free to forward the link.
